Warp Five: A Star Trek Enterprise Podcast

Nov 6, 2015

MACO Corporal Amanda Cole.

In Season Three of Enterprise, the crew dynamic of the NX-01 was “enhanced" in a way that we had never seen before on Star Trek. Due to the dire circumstances that developed at the beginning of the Xindi Arc, we were introduced to an entirely new branch of service from the United Earth Government: the MACOs; a specialized military attachment with orders to safeguard the crew and protect the mission. In terms of the series, this infusion of secondary characters gave the audience an entirely new cast of faces and personalities to enjoy and explore!

In this episode of Warp Five, Team Conference Room continues our research into the MACOs, with an in-depth look at Corporal Amanda Cole, played by actress Noa Tishby. Cole was seen in only a few minutes of the Season Three episode Harbinger, as Trip's new romantic interest and was the catalyst for sparking jealousy in T'Pol; a clear sign of her increasing emotional instability as the mission pressed further into the Delphic Expanse. Please join us as we discuss Amanda Cole's (albeit brief) role on Harbinger and her future potential for the series.
